We are very pumped to be playing at Wanderer festival in Pembula Beach, NSW!
September 23-25th.
Alongside some other ROCK’N’ROLL ROYALTY like The Dandy Warhols, Winston Surfshirt, DZ Deathrays, DMA’s and a favourite of ours, Wolfmother!
Wanderer heralds a watershed new genre of boutique festival: a truly multi-generational celebration of music, art, culture and place across three days and founded on the core tenets of sustainability, community and creativity. The kindred soul and official successor of The Lost Lands, much of the DNA from that unique event carries over, albeit with a renewed vision and purpose. A sanctuary of music, art and community crafted with Wanderer’s different audiences in mind in three unique spaces.
The infamous Haus Party is back! Otto & Astrid (from Die Roten Punkte), Berlin’s prince and princess of art rock and Europop host a raucous evening of the very best musical comedy, circus and variety acts. Past guests include; Frisky & Mannish, Bridget Everett, Paul Foot, David O’Doherty and Le Gateau Chocolat. ‘All you really need to know is this: they’re hilarious’ (CBC Canada). ‘Otto and Astrid take rock to a new level with this wild cabaret’ (Herald Sun, Melbourne). ‘Pitch perfect pop parody. Too much fun!’ (Scotsman).
